MCC NEET UG Counselling 2021 Resignation: The Medical Counselling Committee has released the notification for the candidates’ MCC NEET Counselling 2021 Round 2 Resignation. As per the notice, MCC has received multiple requests from candidates to renounce their seats from their allotted colleges/institutions in the second round. The following is the timeline that MCC announced on its official website for the resignation of Round seats as well as on the intra MCC portal:
- U.G. Course: Thursday, February 15, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. (as notice dated February 5, 2022).
- P.G. Course: Wednesday, February 3, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. (as per notice dated 19.01.2022)
However, as stated in the cases of Dar-u-slam Educational Trust & Ors. vs MCI & Ors. (W.P. no. 267 of 2017) and Snigda Leo vs MCC & O.R.s (W.P. no. 820 of 2021), no resignation is permitted once a candidate has participated in round 2 of MCC Counselling. Colleges that take resignations offline are encouraged to refrain from doing so, as vacant seats created by offline resignation will not be considered in subsequent rounds of counselling.
Moreover, the Committee has announced that NO RESIGNATION will be accepted IN/AFTER Round 2 of Counselling.
