AIQ NEET-UG 2021 Counselling is very tricky. Test Taking Agency (NTA) will release the result for NEET 2021. The responsibility of the NTA will be limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of neet result and providing All India Rank to the Directorate General Health Services, Government of India for the conduct of counselling for 15% of All India Quota Seats and for supplying the result to state/other Counselling Authorities. Counselling for 15% All India Quota seats will be done by the Directorate General of Health’s Medical Counselling Committee. Seats will be allotted to students according to their rank and choice filling.

Eligibility Criteria for NEET 2021 Counselling

Below we have mentioned the Eligibility Criteria for Participate in NEET-UG 2021 Counselling Process; candidates are advised to check the eligibility before filling the registration form for NEET 2021 Counselling.

  • Only NEET-UG 2021 qualified applicants are eligible to apply for NEET 2021 Counselling.
  • Jammu and Kashmir applicants will not be eligible to participate in All India NEET counselling unless they give their permission.
  • Students who have registered on the MCC website for NEET 2021 counselling
  • All NEET qualified candidates are eligible to participate in the AIQ counselling for Deemed Universities.

Central University Eligibility Criteria for NEET 2021 Counselling

VMMC & SJH15% seats for All India and rest as Institute Quota for students who have passed their 10+2 from Delhi.

Counselling for 15% All India Quota

  • The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India, will hold the Counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats.
  • All deemed central, state universities will participate in online counselling.
  • Seats of ESIC and AFMC, BHU & AMU will also be filled in this counselling.
  • Candidates will apply for 15% All India Quota seats as per the directions of DGHS, and Counselling will be stopped soon as the seats are filled.
  • Through this counselling, candidates can get enrolled in any of the medical colleges in India.
  • Those candidates who participate in All India Counselling can also participate in State Counselling of their respective states.

Counselling Process (AIQ Quota)

Candidates applying for Medical/Dental Colleges in India must register themselves for the AIQ NEET counselling 2021. Counselling of NEET 2021 for All India Quota will be conducted in two rounds in online mode. The counselling will consist of these steps.

1. Candidate Registration: Register to the official website.

2. Choice Filling and Locking (Round 1): You have to choose the courses and colleges of your preference and finally lock in the preferences in the online portal.

3. Seat Allotment Result (Round 1): The seat allotment will be published online based on available vacancies and candidate’s choices.

4. Reporting to college: Those who will be allotted a seat in the first round will be required to either reject the allotted seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities.

5. New Registration (Round 2): For candidates who couldn’t register in the first round of counselling.

6. Fresh Choice Filling and Locking (Round 2): Similar to round 1 mentioned above.

7. Seat Allotment Result (Round 2): Similar to round 1 mentioned above.

8. Reporting to college (Round 2): Here, it is to be noted that those who will be allotted a seat in the second round of counselling (15% AIQ Quota) will not be permitted to vacate their seats as per the orders made by the Supreme court of India.

How is Merit List Compiled

The NEET 2021 Merit List compilation is made by following the guidelines directed by the Medical Council of India and the Dental Council of India.

  • The eligibility is laid out as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations 1997.
  • The determination of the NEET Merit List is made up of including
  • An applicant must attain minimum marks of the 50th percentile in the qualifying entrance exam, i.e., NEET 2021.
  • If the candidate fails to score minimum qualifying marks, He/She will be not allowed for the Counselling process.
  • Lastly, aspirants must have passed individually in Physics, Biology/Biotechnology, Chemistry and English. Additionally, they must have a minimum of 50% as the sum of all subjects.

Documents Required

Documents required by Students during NEET Seat Allotment. The candidate must take original documents along with attested photocopies for admission.

  • Admit card
  • NEET 2021 Rank Letter
  • Date of Birth Certificate

  • Class XII Marksheet
  • 8 passport sized photographs (Must be Same as the one affixed on the application form)

Seat Allotment (Provisional Result Released)

After a few days of counselling, the allotted course and college will be sent by Mail or SMS to the candidate. The allotment will be done based on the candidate’s rank, category, and preference filled during counselling.

A. Yes, presenting the NEET 2021 admit card is crucial during the counselling process. Without the admit card, candidates will not be granted admissions through NEET counselling 2021.

Q. I forgot to lock the choices in the registration form of NEET. What should I do?

A. If an applicant forgets to lock the saved choices, the system will automatically consider these choices during the preparation of the seat allotment list. However, candidates are advised to check the choices filled and submit the same within the stipulated time.

Q. Can I go to counselling in 2021 with 2020 NEET marks pls answer?

A. No, you are not eligible because there is no such provision by the NTA or MCC like this. For NEET 2021 counselling, you must be qualified the exam of NEET 2021, which will be conducted on September 12.

Q. When will the registration for the first round of NEET 2021 counselling begin?

A. Registrations for the first round of MCC counselling 2021 will begin tentatively in mid-October.

Q. Can I apply to AIIMS through the MCC counselling of NEET 2021?

A. A. Yes, you can apply to AIIMS, JIPMER, BHU, AMU and other medical colleges through NEET counselling 2021.

Q. What is meant by Free Exit for NEET counselling?

A. If a candidate is allotted a seat in round one of NEET 2021 counselling but fails to report to the institute allocated within the designated duration, they shall not be penalised for it. The candidate will be eligible to participate in the next round of counselling. This is called ‘Free Exit’.
