MCC NEET UG 2021 Counselling New Changes

Candidates are informed as under regarding the above changes:

  • Registration/ Payment Facility/ Choice Filling is made open for all the candidates.
  • Candidates who are already registered need not register again. Already registered candidates who want to edit their choices can log in to their account, give consent for unlocking their choices and fill their choices again or edit/ modify them.
  • However, Candidates who do not want to edit their locked choices need not do anything. Their earlier exercised choices will be valid for seat processing as such, for Round-1.
  • Candidates who want to do Fresh Registration can do so as per schedule and exercise choices for Round-1 of Counselling after paying the requisite fee.
  • RESET Facility will be provided to candidates for Round-1 upto 10:00 A.M of 30.01.2022

Important Instructions candidates need to follow:

Hence, the verification of the documents has been done by the allotted college through scanned copies send by the candidates.
  2. The candidate who want upgradation in round-2 while retaining in round-1 have to physicall report to the colleges to the earliest time mentioned.
  3. The candidates who are reporting online, should ensure about the admission letter, that thye must be received and able to download from the official website, without admission letter the online reporting will be considered as null/void.
  4. The candidates can check out the email id/ Phone number/ Nodal officer of colleges on the official website.
  5. The Candidates can pay the requisite fees to the allotted colleges through their authorized portal to be notified in advance by the college authorities on the college website.
  6. All admission made online will be considered provisional, after the candidate visit the colleges physicall will consider their admission final after verification of documents.
  7. The candidates who want to resign from round-1 process, have to resign through 16 february 2022 at 4 pm. The Online resignation will considered as appropriate one, if the candidate resign offline that will be considered as null/void.
  8. The candidates who want to avail ” free exit” they do not want to visit the allotted colleges.
  9. The Online reporting is only valid when the candidate is having covid or any other family members are dealing with it.Otherwise, they have to report to the college at the time given to them.

MCC Update to NRI Candidates for Claim Regarding NEET-UG 2021 Counselling 2021 (30 Dec 2021)

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), which administers the NEET-UG counselling, has issued a notice for the candidates claiming NRI status. Candidates who want to get their nationality converted from Indian to NRI can submit their application to ug.nri.mcc@gmail.com with supporting documents from 10:00 a.m. of 30th December 2021 (Thursday) and the last date to apply for an NRI claim is January 2, 2022.

MCC Update Regarding NEET-UG 2021 Counselling 2021 (18 Dec 2021)

The Supreme Court of India has approved the new counselling scheme of the MCC. NEET UG and PG counselling for All India Quota (AIQ) medical seats will be conducted in four rounds starting from 2021. This will be applicable for 50 per cent of postgraduate seats and 15 per cent of undergraduate seats under the central pool. The four rounds of MCC NEET Counselling 2021 are – AIQ round 1, AIQ round 2, AIQ mop-up round and AIQ stray vacancy round.

Counselling for 15% All India Quota

  • The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India, will hold the Counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats.
  • All deemed central, state universities will participate in online counselling.
  • Seats of ESIC and AFMC, BHU & AMU will also be filled in this counselling.
  • Candidates will apply for 15% All India Quota seats as per the directions of DGHS, and Counselling will be stopped soon as the seats are filled.
  • Through this counselling, candidates can get enrolled in any of the medical colleges in India.
  • Those candidates who participate in All India Counselling can also participate in State Counselling of their respective states.

Counselling Process (AIQ Quota)

Candidates applying for Medical/Dental Colleges in India must register for the AIQ NEET counselling 2021. Counselling of NEET 2021 for All India Quota will be conducted in two rounds in online mode. The counselling will consist of these steps.

1. Candidate Registration: Register to the official website.

2. Choice Filling and Locking (Round 1): You have to choose the courses and colleges of your preference and finally lock in the preferences in the online portal.

3. Seat Allotment Result (Round 1): The seat allotment will be published online based on available vacancies and candidates’ choices.

4. Reporting to college: Those who will be allotted a seat in the first round will be required to either reject the allotted seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities.

5. New Registration (Round 2): For candidates who couldn’t register in the first round of counselling.

6. Fresh Choice Filling and Locking (Round 2): This is similar to round 1 mentioned above.

7. Seat Allotment Result (Round 2): This is similar to round 1 mentioned above.

8. Reporting to college (Round 2): Here, it is to be noted that those who will be allotted a seat in the second round of counselling (15% AIQ Quota) will not be permitted to vacate their seats as per the orders made by the Supreme court of India.

How is Merit List Compiled

The NEET 2021 Merit List compilation follows the guidelines directed by the Medical Council of India and the Dental Council of India.

  • The eligibility is laid out as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations 1997.
  • The determination of the NEET Merit List is made up of including
  • An applicant must attain minimum marks of the 50th percentile in the qualifying entrance exam, i.e., NEET 2021.
  • If the candidate fails to score minimum qualifying marks, He/She will be not allowed for the Counselling process.
  • Lastly, aspirants must have passed individually in Physics, Biology/Biotechnology, Chemistry and English. Additionally, they must have a minimum of 50% as the sum of all subjects.
