West Bengal NEET Counselling 2021 Seat Surrender: The Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal, has released an urgent notice for all the West Bengal NEET-UG & PG Medical/Dental/AYUSH colleges in West Bengal regarding possible seat surrender by admitted candidates after 21.02.2022 in WB Counselling on the official website.

As per the information released, the Authority has announced that Admitted PG/UG candidates were allowed to renounce their seats without paying a bond penalty until February 21, 2022, as per notices HFW-23099/449/2021/M/280 dated February 15, 2022, and HFW-23099/40/2022/M/296 dated February 16, 2022. Concerned colleges were required to notify such surrenders to the NIC server in a favourable manner.

After completing all needed requirements, the candidate will be given a seat surrender receipt by the respective college offline. Any seat surrender request received after February 21, 2022, will be subject to a bond penalty fee, which the candidate must pay to get the original documents. The fee that was deposited will be forfeited.

The bond penalty must be paid in the form of a demand draft in the name of the concerned college’s Director/Principal. In this case, an online payment option may be accepted.

For seat surrender, the candidate must present in person. No requests via email, fax, or phone will be accepted.

Concerned college officials must notify the West Bengal Medical Counseling Committee (WBMCC) Swasthya Bhavan via email id spsrc.mes@gmail.com with the details of such seat surrender.
