JEE Main 2022 Registration: The Department of Higher Education has started the Online Registration of B.E/ B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Planning courses from 01-03-2022 to 31-03-2022 on the official website (jeemain.nta.nic.in). All the candidates who are willing to participate are requested to Participate now as the registration process is going on until the deadline mentioned by the authority.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development founded the National Testing Agency as an independent, autonomous, self-reliant, and self-sufficient top testing institution. The Indian government has entrusted the NTA with the JEE Mains 2021 entrance examination. JEE Main, formerly known as the All India Engineering Entrance Examination, is an all-India computer-based test for admission to various technical undergraduate programmes in architecture, planning, and engineering.

The authority has released the schedule, in which there are two papers in the Joint Entrance Examination (Main). According to the mentioned exams, the authority has released their schedule, which is mentioned below:

  • For admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments, Paper 1 is administered. It’s also a qualifying exam for JEE (Advanced), which is used to get into IITs.
  • Paper 2 is required for admission to the country’s B. Arch and B. Planning programmes.

How to Apply for JEE Main 2022 Admission?

  • Registration: Applicants must first fill JEE Main 2021 registration form by filling in basic details like mobile number, name, email ID etc.
  • Filling Application Form: In this step, applicants must fill detailed JEE Main 2021 application form by giving education, parents, paper for appearing, category, exam centre, etc.
  • Documents Uploading process: You must upload scanned images of passport size, colour photograph and signature, and if you belong to reserved categories, you also need to upload category certificates.
  • Application Fee Payment: After documents upload, applicants must pay application fees online. The application form will be automatically submitted after fee payment.
  • Take Printout: Applicants must print out the filled application form and keep it safe.
  • After that the candidates will get the access of JEE Main login officially.

JEE Main 2022 Eligibility Criteria

  • The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/ State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi; etc.
  • Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
  • Any Public School/ Board/ University examination in India or any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Documents Required

  1. Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible).
  2. The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly legible)
  3. The recent photograph should be either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.
  4. The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb (clearly legible)
  5. The size of the scanned copy of the Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc.) should be in pdf between 50kb to 300kb (clearly legible).
  6. The size of the scanned copy of the PwD certificate should be in pdf between 50 kb to 300 kb (clearly legible).
