NEET UG 2024 Registration Expected Date: The NEET UG 2024 registration process is expected to begin in March, per past trends. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared that the NEET UG 2024, the single-largest medical entrance exam, will be held on May 5.
The NEET UG application form is set to be released two months before the exam date, following the trend observed in previous years. Concurrently, the NEET UG notification for the year 2024 will be issued, marking the activation of the registration link. Those pursuing MBBS and other medical undergraduate courses who have recently completed their Class 12 board exams must qualify in the NEET exam for eligibility.
In a recent update from the National Medical Commission, the NEET UG syllabus for 2024 has undergone revisions, reducing the total number of chapters from 97 to 79.
In the preceding year, more than 20 lakh candidates participated in the medical entrance exam, which took place across 4,097 exam centres in 499 cities within India and 14 international locations. Typically, the exam is scheduled from 2 pm to 5:20 pm.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is responsible for conducting NEET UG counselling in 2024. Admission to 1 lakh MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, and 603 BVSc and AH seats will be based on the candidates’ ranks.
