NEET UG 2021 Counselling: According to the latest update by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) released, the NEET UG 2021 special stray vacancy round has started the reporting process to fill up about 323 MBBS vacant seats in an online mode to prevent the seats of central university, all India quota, central institutes, AIIMS, JIPMER from going to waste. It is for the information to all candidates that the Final Result for Special Stray Vacancy Round of NEET-UG 2021 Counselling is now available.

All the UG NEET eligible candidates who are registered with the MCC of DGHS are informed that this year Medical Counselling Committee of DGHS conducted Online Stray Vacancy Round for MBBS Seats.

However, still 325 MBBS seats of All India Quota/ Central University/ Central Institutes/ AIIMS/ JIPMER are vacant. The details of the vacant seats are available on the MCC website (www.mcc.nic.in). In this regard, the competent authority has decided to conduct a Special Stray Vacancy Round for the vacant (323) MBBS Seats online so that the precious All India Quota/ Central Institute/ Central University/ AIIMS/ JIPMER seats do not go waste.

MCC NEET UG 2021 Counselling Special Stray Vacancy Round (Out)

As per the approval accorded by MoHFW (F. No.U-11011/22/2021-MEC)dated 14th April 2022, MCC of DGHS will conduct a Special Stray Vacancy Round for the vacant (325) MBBS Seats of All India Quota/ Central University/ AIIMS/ JIPMER in an online mode. The Schedule for Special Stray Vacancy Round is as under:

NEET UG Counselling 2021 Special Stray Round Rules

The rule position for Special Stray Vacancy Round for MCC NEET UG 2021 is as under:

  • No Fresh Registration will take place in Special Stray Vacancy Round. All pre-registered candidates who are not holding any seats are eligible to participate. However, candidates must do Fresh Choice Filling for Special Stray Vacancy Round.
  • All Registered candidates, irrespective of their category, must pay a Refundable Security Deposit of Rs. 50,000 for participation in Special Stray Vacancy Round. The Refundable Security Deposit of candidates who do not join the seats allotted to them in the Special Stray Vacancy Round will be Forfeited.
  • Candidates who are not holding any Seat either in the All India Quota or State Quota are eligible to participate in Special Stray Vacancy Round. Candidates who will be allotted seats in Special Stray Vacancy Round will have to report to the allotted Institute and join the seat with their original documents.
  • Candidates participating in the Special round will have to furnish an undertaking concerning the allotment of seats at the time of Choice Filling on the MCC portal as under:

“I agree to participate in the Special Stray Vacancy Round of NEET-UG Counselling, 2021. I affirm that I am not holding any seat in the previous rounds of NEET-UG Counselling, 2021 of All India Quota/State Quota. I understand that these seats are precious. Hence, I will join the allotted seat if I am allotted a seat during the Special Stray Vacancy Round. If due for any reason, I do not join the allotted seat, my security deposit of 50,000 /- will be forfeited, and any action, including legal action, may be taken by the Competent Authority.”

NEET UG 2021 Special Stray Vacancy Round Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility of candidates to participate in the Special Stray Vacancy Round is reiterated as under:
