NTA open the NEET 2022 Category Correction in Application Form at neet.nta.nic.in; See details here

NEET 2022 Category Correction: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has allowed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Undergraduate (NEET-UG) candidates to correct their category in the NEET 2022 application forms. Candidates, who had not been able to mention their actual Category correctly while filling up the Online Application Form, by mistake or due to non-availability of Category Certificate, may avail of the opportunity, as mentioned above, to mention their actual Category themselves in their respective NEET 2022 Online Applications Form and also upload the scanned copy of the Certificate. The NEET-UG 2022 application correction facility will be available from June 14 to June 16 (till 9 pm).

The candidates, who may not have been able to obtain a Category Certificate from the Competent Authority, may upload a Self-Declaration in the format prescribed in Annexure-1. The candidates are allowed to make the corrections, latest, by 16 June 2022 (up to 09:00 P.M.). After that, no correction will be entertained. The additional fee (wherever applicable) shall be paid by the candidate concerned through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI and PAYTM.

Since it is a one-time facility extended to the candidates to avoid any hardships, they are informed to do the correction very carefully, as no further chance for modification will be given to them. Please note that the final correction shall be taken into account only after payment of an additional fee (e.g. change of category from SC or ST to General or OBCNCL to General or EWS to General).

Therefore, in continuation of the Public Notice dated 24 May 2022, it has been decided to provide another opportunity to the candidates to correct/change their Category themselves in their respective Online Application Forms for NEET (UG) – 2022, as per the details mentioned below:

• Visit the official website of NTA: neet.nta.nic.in
• Click on the tab stating ‘Correction in category for NEET-UG 2022.’
• Log in by entering the application number, password and security pin
• Click on ‘Correction in the application form.’
• Edit/rectify the category details in the NEET application form 2022 and save
• Pay the prescribed fee and click on ‘Submit.’
