UPES University Scholarship Programs are one of the most extensive scholarship programs run by any University in India.

Who will get Scholarship:-All students who have applied for admission for UPES courses and have taken the UPES entrance examination shall be eligible for this scholarship? However, this Scholarship shall be awarded only to those students who have complied with the below-defined Scholarship Criteria for the first semester and subsequent renewal, if applicable?
Scholarship Criteria
UPES University Scholarship will be awarded to upto 10% of Top performers of the UPES Entrance Exam. UPES reserves the right to conduct multiple rounds of entrance examination, and the merit list of each game will be prepared separately. However, it is UPES sole discretion to consider the next in line of the top 10 for said Scholarship if the top performer does not accept the Scholarship.

Total number of scholarships
UPES Dehradun University Total number of scholarships available is up to 1900 (out of this, 50% will be reserved for girls, i.e., 950 scholarships, and the balance is for the general category, including boys and girls).
Scholarship Benefits
UPES University Scholarship will be awarded 20% to 100% on tuition fees for the 1st semester only. Renewal of scholarships for the rest of the semesters is at the sole discretion of UPES.
Scholarship Renewal Criteria
UPES Dehradun University Continuation of Scholarship will be subject to university policy in the subsequent semesters, which may differ year on year. However, it will be subject to meeting of minimum eligibility criteria as below:
- Minimum SGPA/CGPA of 8.5 in each semester.
- Passed every semester on the first try without any supplementary or improvement exam.
- Maintenance of 75% attendance in an entire semester
- No disciplinary action was initiated/ awarded against the student
- Exemplary behaviour and compliance with all other norms as prescribed by the University from time to time
33% fee concession for bonafide Uttarakhand students
In case you are a Uttarakhand bonafide resident, you are eligible for a 33% concession on tuition fee subject to fulfilment of the following conditions and submission of supporting documents:
- Sthai Niwas Praman Patra’s certificate, along with the admission form.
- An income certificate proves that your gross family income is not more than Rs.12 lakh per annum, along with a copy of the last income tax return.
Alumni scholarships

| The Scholarship is Applicable to all Alumni who have graduated from 2018 onwards. Applications from alumni who graduated before 2018 will be processed based on special approval. | Alumni should directly apply online, and email/her academic details and the application number to the provided SPOC. |
| Alumni will have to meet the notified eligibility criteria for AY 2024 for the respective programs. | Alumni will have to go through the admission process of the applied program as per the notified selection criteria for AY 2024. |

Offered Scholarship:
- The scholarship offered is applicable as a 35% tuition fee waiver for the entire duration of the program. All other fee components will be charged as per AY 2024.
- No other scholarships can be offered or clubbed with the Alumni scholarship.
- No Alumni fee will be charged.
- Renewal of the scholarship for the subsequent year is based on the following:
- A clean track record with no disciplinary case/action.
- Successful passing of the academic year with no backlog of papers.
