Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati (IIITG) is one of the IIIT institutes located in Guwahati, Assam. It is also known as IIIT Guwahati and it was established in 2013. It was set up by the MHRD, Government of India in a public-private partnership (PPP) model.
IIIT Guwahati offers a B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. IIIT Guwahati has also started an M-Tech Programme for CSE and ECE graduates in 2018. IIIT Guwahati admitted the first batch of B.Tech. students completed their program in May 2017. The first convocation of the Institute was held on May 15, 2018.

Admission Process
IIITG’s B.Tech. program admits 30 students each for two of its disciplines, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).
Seats are filled up through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) after qualifying JEE (Main) examination administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
