SRM University Sonipat Scholarship 2024-25: Eligibility Criteria, Courses etc.

SRM University Sonipat Scholarships Scheme: Every student dreams of studying in the best college, but very few of them make it happen. Some students lack career guidance, whereas others suffer from a financial crisis. As a result, they are forced to drop their plans. Many the Brilliant Students from apparently weak backgrounds have to compromise with some low-grade colleges because of their Financial unavailability. 

SRM University has implemented a distinctive scholarship programme called the ‘SRMH Scholar Search Programme’ to encourage and support meritorious candidates. Under this Programme, an applicant may qualify for a scholarship for up to 100% of the University Tuition Fee.

Below we have mentioned the SRM University Sonipat Scholarship Scheme to encourage and support students of representative talent; several scholarships are instituted to recognise excellence in academics, sports and deserving candidates. The quantum of scholarships and the number of scholarships are subject to change from time to time.

Chancellor’s Scholarship

This is a prestigious scholarship for academically meritorious candidates, achievers in sports, based on economic background.  The meritorious students can also avail School Toppers’ Scholarship based on their merit in the XII examination.

1. Students with ≥ 95 % in the XII examination are eligible for a 100% scholarship in tuition fees.
2. Students with 92-94.9 % in the XII examination are eligible for a 75% scholarship in tuition fees.
3. Students with 89-91.9% in the XII examination are eligible for a 50% scholarship in tuition fees.
4. Students with 80-88.9 % in the XII examination are eligible for a 25% scholarship in tuition fees.
5. Students with 75-79.9% in the XII examination are eligible for a 10% scholarship in tuition fees.

A scholarship from 10-100% is subject to a valid SRMHCAT score.

The state topper of each board is eligible for a 100 % Scholarship in tuition fees.

Haryana Domicile Scholarship

As per provisions of the Haryana State Private Universities Act, 2006 clause 35 & 36 SRM University, Delhi-NCR, Sonepat, Haryana, has implemented the provision of Scholarships for Haryana Domicile Candidates (25% of total seats). The criteria for availing of the scholarship are:

1. Rank/Performance in the National Level Entrance Examination i.e. SRMHCAT only.
2. The student must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria.
3. Continuation of the scholarship in the subsequent years will be based on minimal academic performance.

It is mandatory for candidates applying under the category of Haryana Domicile to submit a Domicile certificate at the time of counselling/admission.

Eligibility criteria for the scholarship – (Haryana Domicile & Chancellor Scholarship)

As per the policy adopted by the University for the continuance of the Haryana Domicile Scholarship for the second & subsequent years, the following conditions must be fulfilled:

1. Students should have cleared all the subjects of their respective semesters.
2. To continue the scholarship – The cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) shall be 7.5 and above.

For continuation of the Hon’ble Chancellor’s Scholarship for the second & subsequent years will be subject to securing a minimum CGPA as mentioned below:

Students should have cleared all the subjects of their respective semesters.

1. For 100% & 75 % scholarships – The cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) shall be 9.00 and above.
2. For a 50% scholarship – The cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) shall be 8.00 and above.
3. For a 25% scholarship – The cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) shall be 7.00 and above.
4. For a 10% scholarship – The cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) shall be 6.00 and above.

• This policy is valid only for the AY 2022-23.

SRM Group Alumni Scholarship (For Students continuing their study at SRM)

Students who are graduating from SRMUH or any of SRM group of institutes and wish to continue their journey of study at SRM University Delhi NCR, Sonepat –

• Will be benefited from the same scholarship they were availing in their final year of U.G.
• In case of no scholarship was availed during the study of the U.G. programme then a Flat 25% scholarship on tuition fees can be granted.
