After the NEET UG and JEE Advanced 2025 results were announced, Andhra Pradesh Human Resource Minister Nara Lokesh declared a major step to support students from government junior colleges. On Sunday, he announced free NEET and JEE coaching for these students, beginning with a focused first phase covering 1,355 junior colleges and over 1 lakh students.
These students will receive specially curated study material prepared by expert faculty to help them succeed in these national-level entrance exams. In an official press release, Minister Lokesh said,
“This initiative gives every student in Andhra Pradesh a fair chance to dream big and achieve bigger,”
while highlighting equal opportunities in education for all.
Coaching Hours Extended in Government Colleges
To support this initiative, the NDA-led state government has extended college hours until 5 PM. Every day, two hours will be dedicated to focused coaching sessions, utilising high-quality and structured learning materials.

Additionally, junior lecturers have been trained to deliver this content effectively. The aim is to maintain uniform teaching standards across all government colleges, regardless of students’ location or background.

The program will also include:

- Regular progress reviews
- Performance tracking
Minister Lokesh stated that this training is the first of its kind in the state. It will help economically weaker students compete on par with their peers in top institutions across India.
NEET UG & JEE Advanced 2025 Results Declared
Meanwhile, the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the final answer key and NEET UG 2025 results on June 14. Candidates can check their results on the official website: neet.nta.nic.in.
This year, Mahesh Kumar from Rajasthan secured All India Rank 1 in NEET UG 2025, scoring 99.9999547 percentile.
Candidates can view their subject-wise scores, total marks, percentile rank and qualifying status through their login. Qualified candidates are now eligible to participate in centralised counselling for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other undergraduate medical programs across India.
