Patna: The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released a new notice regarding UGMAC 2025 counselling for MBBS/BDS/B.V.Sc & A.H. admissions in government and private colleges of Bihar. As per the official update, 150 additional MBBS seats have been added to the seat matrix of private medical colleges and a newly approved institute.
According to the notice (Adv. No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2025/18 dated October 26, 2025), 50-50 additional seats have been included in the seat matrix of Katihar Medical College (KMC), Katihar and RDJMMC, Turkey, Muzaffarpur. Moreover, 50 seats have been introduced in the newly established Virat Ramayan Institute of Medical Science, Chakia, East Champaran.
The revised seat matrix is now available on the official website- bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
BCECEB has also announced a major update for candidates regarding Round 3 counselling eligibility. Earlier, candidates allotted a seat through Round 3 of the All India Quota (AIQ) conducted by MCC were not eligible for UGMAC Round 3. However, following a recent court order and directions from MCC, New Delhi, candidates who were allotted a seat in AIQ Round 3 but did not join can now participate in UGMAC Round 3 of the state quota and vice versa.

All concerned UGMAC-2025 candidates are advised to revisit and update their choice filling in light of the new seat additions. Other terms and conditions from the earlier advertisement (No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2025/14 dated 03.10.2025) remain unchanged.
