Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IPU) has released an important advisory for candidates applying for the Academic Session 2026–27, urging them to carefully select the correct programme code while filling out the online application form.
As per the official notification dated 18 March 2026, the university has already started the admission process for various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes from 01 February 2026.
The university highlighted that several candidates have made errors while selecting their programme codes during the application process and later requested corrections. To avoid such issues, IPU has strictly advised applicants to double-check their choices before submission.
For ease of application, the online portal provides separate sections for UG and PG programmes. Candidates are strongly encouraged to select the correct programme code based on the course they wish to pursue and ensure accuracy to avoid complications during CET or admission stages.
Additionally, applicants must carefully fill in their personal details, region, and category, as any incorrect information may lead to issues later in the admission process.
