New Delhi: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has issued a clarification regarding the fee structure for candidates applying under the Single Girl Child (SGC) quota in various UG/PG programmes offered at its University School of Studies for the academic session 2025-26.
According to Notification No. 137/2025, a non-refundable fee of ₹2500/- is to be paid by candidates while applying the Single Girl Child quota. This clarification is in continuation of the earlier Notification No. 107/2025 (F.No. IPU-7/DL-Academic/2025-26/757) dated June 25, 2025.
However, the university has specifically highlighted that this fee is only applicable for certain programmes. These include:

- Programme Codes: 131, 139, 140, 145, 146, 147, 148, 149, and 121.
The university also made it clear that this fee does not apply to technical courses such as:
- B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Arch, BCA, MCA, B.Ed, BPT, etc., or for integrated BA LLB (Hons.)/BBA LLB (Hons.) programmes.
The clarification aims to address queries raised by students and guardians regarding the applicability of the fee for SGC candidates during admission.
