Maharashtra NEET UG 2025: In compliance with the latest All India Quota (AIQ) data released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has formally revised its NEET UG 2025 Round 3 counselling schedule.
The updated schedule and seat matrix are now available on the official website, medicalug2025.mahacet.org.
Updated Schedule for Maharashtra UG 2025 Round 3
The revised schedule states that preference filling for CAP Round 3 will take place between October 11 and October 14, 2025. The Round 3 choice list would be published on October 17, and then physical reporting and document verification from October 18 to 26.

But the CET Cell has mandated that no counselling activity would take place during October 21 and 23 as it is the Diwali festival.
Seat Matrix and Impact of AIQ
The Round 3 seat matrix is out now. The CET Cell says that the seat availability can increase during this round as some AIQ Round 3 seats were cancelled or reverted.
Join NEET News 2025 The candidates are required to go through the revised matrix carefully before finalizing their options. The students already accommodated in AIQ Round 3 will not be given consideration for counselling of states.
The alignment of Maharashtra’s time schedule with the revised AIQ schedule of MCC harmonizes all India process uniformly, specifically in the wake of inclusion of newly sanctioned MBBS and BDS seats in India.

Counselling Application Procedure for Maharashtra NEET UG 2025
- Step 1: Go to the official website – cetcell.mahacet.org
- Step 2: Choose “Medical Courses Counselling.”
- Step 3: Click on “New Registration.”
- Step 4: Enter your personal details to obtain a registration number.
- Step 5: Log in and complete the application by uploading the documents.
- Step 6: Pay the notified registration fee.
- Step 7: Upload and download the form for reference.
Key Advisory
Students will be required to list the colleges and courses they want to apply for, allocation of which seats will be done on the basis of merit rank, availability, and reservation policy. Those students who fail to complete the registration period will miss their chance for admission.
