Maharashtra NEET Tragedy: Principal Father Beats Daughter to Death Over Low Scores

A Maharashtra school principal allegedly beat his daughter to death over low NEET mock test scores, sparking outrage over academic pressure.

Sangli, Maharashtra: A shocking incident has emerged from Sangli district in Maharashtra, where a school principal allegedly beat his 17-year-old daughter to death after she scored low marks in a NEET mock test. The girl, Sadhana Bhosale, was a Class 12 student and had dreams of becoming a doctor.

What Happened?

According to the police, the accused, Dhoondiram Bhosale, is a principal at a private school. Sadhana had recently taken a NEET mock exam, and her low marks reportedly enraged her father. On Friday night, during a discussion about her scores, Sadhana reportedly said, “Papa, are you some collector?” This remark infuriated her father so much that he attacked her with a stick.

She suffered severe injuries to her head and collapsed. Instead of taking her to the hospital immediately, the father allegedly left for school the next morning to participate in Yoga Day celebrations.
