NEET UG 2025: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an urgent notice regarding the Special Stray Vacancy Round, MCC has made Fresh Choice filling Mandatory for BDS and B.Sc. Nursing seats under UG Counselling 2025.

As per the official notice dated 18 December 2025, all choices filled earlier by candidates for BDS and B.Sc. Nursing courses between 9 December and 11 December 2025 will be treated as “Null & Void.”
Earlier Choices Cancelled for BDS & B.Sc. Nursing
The notice refers to the counselling schedule uploaded on 17 December 2025 for:
- Special Stray Vacancy Round for MBBS, BDS & B.Sc Nursing
- Round 5 of UG Counselling 2025 for BDS & B.Sc Nursing
MCC clarified that due to changes in the counselling schedule, previously exercised choices for BDS and B.Sc Nursing candidates stand cancelled, irrespective of whether candidates had already completed choice filling earlier.

MCC has advised all eligible candidates, including those who had filled choices earlier and those who had not, to complete fresh choice filling within the revised timeline.
Fresh Choice Filling Dates:
- Start: 18 December 2025
- End: 21 December 2025
This fresh choice filling is mandatory for participation in the Special Stray Vacancy Round.
All the BDS AND B.Sc. Nursing Applicants are advised to do the fresh choice filling, Failure to submit fresh choices within the stipulated period may result in loss of eligibility for seat allotment in the Special Stray Round.
