Expected Cut-Off for General and EWS Categories
The NEET exam is conducted for a total of 720 marks. This year, the paper was considered slightly more difficult, and based on expert analysis, the expected cut-off for General and EWS categories could range between 162 to 720 marks.
If you have scored above 162, you still have a fair chance of qualifying. Compared to last year, the competition has been even more intense, which means that the top scores may go even higher this time.
Expected Cut-Off for OBC, SC, and ST Categories
The cut-off marks for reserved categories are generally lower than those for the unreserved category. This year, the expected cut-off for students belonging to the OBC, SC, and ST categories could range between 127 to 161 marks. This estimation is based on previous years’ trends. If your score falls within this range, you definitely have a reason to stay hopeful.
Special Cut-Off for PwD Candidates
There is a separate cut-off for Persons with Disabilities (PwD). For PwD candidates belonging to the General category, the expected cut-off could be between 144 to 161 marks. For OBC, SC, and ST category PwD candidates, the expected range is 129 to 143 marks. This special relaxation is provided to ensure equal opportunity for all.
