NEET 2025 Expected Topper Marks: Based on Exam Difficulty, Analysis & Past Year Trends!

New Delhi: The expected score range for NEET 2025 toppers is likely between 710 to 720 marks, based on the exam’s difficulty level, expert analysis, and previous year trends. Although a perfect score of 720 is still achievable, the number of candidates securing full marks may be lower than in 2024 due to the tougher question paper this year.

The NEET UG 2025 exam was conducted by NTA on May 4, 2025, for admission into undergraduate medical, dental, AYUSH, and veterinary courses. Given the increased difficulty level, students and experts alike are eagerly predicting the possible topper scores.

Expected Topper Marks for NEET 2025 Detailed Analysis

  • Experts predict that the topper marks for NEET 2025 may not reach a perfect 720 marks for many candidates, unlike in 2023 and 2024.
  • The expected topper score range is between 710 and 720 marks.
  • The high difficulty level, especially in the Physics section, may prevent many candidates from achieving a full score of 720.
  • It is suggested that the All India Rank 1 (AIR 1) in NEET 2025 could be secured with a score between 715 and 720, similar to the topper score in 2022 (715 marks).
  • While a perfect score of 720 is still possible for a few exceptional candidates, the number of toppers scoring full marks is expected to be lower than in 2024, where 17 students scored 720.
  • Coaching institutes like Allen predict a few students may score 720 based on their NEET 2025 answer key.
  • According to Allen’s early estimations:
    • About 4 students may score 720.
    • Over 30 students may score 715+.
    • Around 100 students may score 710+.
  • Some experts also believe that due to the exam’s challenging nature, the topper score could dip to 700–710 marks, similar to 2019 when the topper scored 701.
