New Delhi: The Indore Bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, in a hearing on June 9, 2025, directed the National Testing Agency (NTA) to declare the NEET UG 2025 result for all candidates except the 75 petitioners who reported disruptions during the exam due to power cuts and rainfall. These candidates had earlier filed a petition citing inconvenience at their exam centre.
The NTA is expected to announce the NEET 2025 result by June 14, 2025. Although a report was submitted in the previous hearing, the court observed that no retest would be conducted for the affected candidates. It is currently unclear whether the NTA will conduct a retest or adopt another method to address their grievances.
According to a report by Nai Dunia, around 8,790 candidates appeared for the NEET 2025 exam in the affected areas. The MP High Court initially stayed the result on May 15, 2025, but amended the order on May 16, 2025.
