In another major scam in medical education, a shocking case of impersonation has surfaced. A youth named Sachin Gora, a resident of Jaipur, has been accused of securing MBBS admission at AIIMS Jodhpur by using a dummy candidate in the NEET 2020 exam.
According to the investigation, Sachin filled the NEET form under his name but sent his cousin Ajit Gora to take the exam using his photo. Ajit appeared for the test, and the result showed 667 marks under Sachin’s name, securing him a seat in MBBS at AIIMS Jodhpur.
Police Action: Accused Detained from AIIMS Hostel
After the fraud was exposed, a Jaipur Police team raided Hostel No. 6 of AIIMS Jodhpur late at night with support from local police. Sachin Gora was detained in the hostel and taken into custody.

The raid caused unrest in the hostel. Several AIIMS students protested the late-night police action, forcing the administration to call additional police forces from Shastri Nagar and Bhagat Ki Kothi stations. Senior administrative officers of AIIMS reached the spot, and the situation was brought under control after discussions.
Exposed by a Relative; FIR Already Filed
Interestingly, it was a relative of Sachin who filed an FIR at Chomu Police Station in Jaipur about 15 days ago, alleging that Ajit, not Sachin, had written the NEET exam. During the investigation, the police matched photographs and scorecards of both individuals, which raised serious suspicions and led to further action.
Legal Case Registered: Brothers Under Investigation
Jaipur Police registered a case under Sections of fraud, forgery, and criminal conspiracy (Case No. 118/25). The investigation is also looking into whether this was a one-off case or part of a larger solver gang or admission racket.
Accused Taken to Jaipur for Interrogation
Basni SHO Nitin Dave confirmed that Chomu ACP Ashok Chauhan sent a formal request to Jodhpur Police for Sachin’s detention. He was then taken into custody and handed over to Jaipur Police, who have now taken him to Jaipur for further questioning and legal proceedings.
