NEET UG 2025 Stray Round: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the eligible NRI candidate list participating in NEET UG 2025 Stray Round counselling for MBBS and BDS seats.
The MCC notice provides an updated list of candidates eligible for NRI seat allotment under the NEET UG 2025 Stray Round.
NEET UG 2025 Stray Round: Eligible NRI Candidates
After the committee’s scrutiny, a list of eligible NRI candidates has been published as Annexure I (attached to the notice).

The following candidates have been provisionally converted from the Indian to the NRI category for NEET UG 2025 Stray Round counselling:

Priority System for NRI Seat Allotment
The seat allotment under the NRI quota will be conducted according to the following priority order:
Priority 1 (Annexure I):
- NRI Candidates
- Children of NRIs
Priority 2 (Annexure II):
- First-degree relatives of NRIs (e.g., siblings, parents)
- Second-degree relatives of NRIs (e.g., cousins, uncles, aunts)
The allotment process begins with Priority 1 candidates, followed by Priority 2 candidates, depending on seat availability.
Document Requirements for NRI Candidates
To retain their eligibility and confirm admission, candidates must submit all required original documents at the time of reporting to the allotted medical college. These include:
- Valid Proof of NRI Status (e.g., Passport, Visa, Residence Permit)
- Relationship Certificate (showing the familial connection with the NRI sponsor)
- Embassy Certificate or equivalent supporting document
- Sponsorship Affidavit clearly stating financial responsibility for education and living expenses
Any deficiency or discrepancy in these documents may result in the cancellation of admission, even if the seat was provisionally allotted.
Note: Only candidates listed in the official MCC Annexure I and II are eligible to fill the NRI category choices during the stray round.
Candidates under the NRI quota are strongly advised to:
- Keep original NRI and relationship documents ready,
- Verify their names in the official MCC Annexures, and
- Report on time to the allotted college to avoid cancellation.
