NEET UG 2025 Update: UP Board Students Facing Problem; Appeal To NTA

UP Board students face issues in NEET UG 2025 registration as their board name is missing from the list, forcing them to select 'Others Board.'

NEW DELHI: The NEET UG 2025 registration began on 7 February and application process will last till 7 March. Students of UP Boards are facing some problems in registration. The name of the UP Board is not given in the list of boards, while the names of all other boards are given. In such a situation, candidates have to choose the ‘Others Board’ option and write the name of the UP Board.

This problem has raised confusion among UP Board students, who are apprehensive about possible discrepancies in their application process. Several of them have posted their concerns on social media, requesting the National Testing Agency (NTA) to correct the oversight. Education experts recommend that the students go through the instructions carefully and make sure their details are properly entered under the category of ‘Others Board’. At the same time, officials are still to make an announcement regarding whether the UP Board name will be included in the list prior to the deadline for registration.

The registration for the country’s largest medical entrance exam, National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam (NEET-UG 2025) by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is going on. Till now more than 7 lakh candidates have applied, but some candidates are facing difficulties in the application process. The last date to apply has been fixed as 7 March 2025.
