NEET UG Registration 2026: Step-by-Step Process
Follow these simple steps while filling out the application form:
Step 1: Online Registration
- Visit the official NTA NEET website.
- Create a new registration ID and password using your mobile number and email ID.
Step 2: Fill Application Form
- Enter personal details (name, parents’ details, DOB, gender, category).
- Provide academic information of Class 10 and Class 12.
- Choose exam city preferences carefully.
Step 3: Images & Documents to Upload in NEET UG 2026 Application
- Live photograph must be captured during the application form filling.
- Upload scanned images of the following:
- Recent passport-size photograph (Must be taken after 01 January 2026)
- in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible) between 10 kb to 200 kb.
- Signature of the candidate.
- 10 kb to 100 kb
- Left and right-hand fingers and thumb impression.
- Citizenship certificate (only if applicable).
- Social category certificate or proof of application (if applicable).
- Class 10 marksheet.
- Class 10 passing certificate/ Or equivalency certificate for CGPA/grade conversion into percentage. ( Must clearly mention Date of Birth (DOB).
- PwBD/PwD certificate (if applicable).
Step 4: Pay Application Fee
- Pay online using UPI, debit card, credit card, or net banking.
- Save the payment confirmation page for future reference.
Step 5: Download Confirmation Page
- After successful submission, download and print the final confirmation page.
NEET UG 2026 Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit
- Minimum age: born on or before 31.12.2009
- Upper age limit: Currently no upper age restriction as per latest rules.
2. Educational Qualification
- Must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 with:
- Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology
- English as a core subject
3. Minimum Marks Requirement
- General category: 50% in PCB
- OBC/SC/ST: 40% in PCB
- PwD: 45% in PCB
4. Number of Attempts
- There is no fixed attempt limit.
- Students can appear multiple times if they meet the age and qualification criteria.
