Scoring 650+ in NEET UG 2025? Target These Top Government Medical Colleges Except AIIMS

NEET UG 2025 candidates scoring 650+ can target top government MBBS colleges as cutoffs may slightly drop due to exam difficulty.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET UG 2025 provisional answer key, and the result announcement is just around the corner. Based on the provisional key and students’ responses, experts have analysed the likely scores and college admissions trends. This guide highlights government medical colleges that candidates scoring 650+ marks in NEET 2025 can confidently aim for, considering this year’s exam difficulty and past cut-off trends.

NEET 2025 Cutoff May Drop Slightly Due to Exam Difficulty

Many students and coaching institutes reported that the NEET UG 2025 exam was slightly more challenging compared to previous years, especially in the Physics and Chemistry sections. Due to this, experts predict a slight drop in the overall cutoff marks, especially for the top-tier government colleges. This means even candidates scoring 645–650 might get admission in highly ranked institutes, depending on category and quota.
