NEET UG 2025: Shri Krishna AYUSH University (SKAU), Kurukshetra has officially released the schedule for the Stray Vacancy Round of counselling and admissions for Undergraduate AYUSH courses for the academic session 2025 – 26. The counselling process will be conducted for BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) and BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) programmes.
The university, established under the State Legislature Act-25 of 2017, has released a detailed notification including the date-wise counselling process, eligibility criteria, reporting schedule, and admission formalities for candidates seeking admission through the final round.
Stray Vacancy Round Counselling Date
As per the official schedule, the Stray Vacancy Round for UG AYUSH courses will be conducted on December 19, 2025. This round is being organised to fill any remaining vacant seats after the completion of all previous counselling rounds.
Eligibility for Participation
Candidates who have already registered in earlier counselling rounds but were:
- Not allotted any seat, or
- Allotted a seat but did not join, or
- Allotted a seat and later left it
are eligible to participate in the Final Stray Vacancy Round. Such candidates must submit a hard copy or printout of the online application form (used in previous rounds) at the University Campus, Kurukshetra.
The deadline for submission of the application form is December 19, 2025, up to 12:00 noon.
Merit List and Reporting Schedule
The university will display the Merit List of already registered candidates on December 19, 2025, at 01:30 PM. Following the release of the merit list, eligible candidates must report physically before the Admission Committee.
Physical reporting for document verification, fee submission, and medical examination will begin on December 19, 2025, from 02:00 PM onwards.
Fresh Registration Provision
In case seats still remain vacant, the university has made provisions for fresh manual offline registration. New candidates who have not registered online in any previous round will be allowed to submit a Fresh Registration Application Form.

This option will be available on December 19, 2025, up to 12:00 noon, and application forms will be provided at a dedicated counter at the university campus. However, these fresh applications will be considered only if seats remain vacant after the already registered candidates are completed.
The Merit List of Fresh Registered Candidates will be displayed on December 19, 2025, at 02:30 PM.
Reporting at Allotted Institutes
Candidates who are allotted seats during the Stray Vacancy Round must report to their respective allotted institutes on December 20, 2025, to complete the admission formalities.
Fee Payment Guidelines
The university has clearly stated that the complete tuition fee of the allotted college or institute must be paid at the time of reporting. The payment should be made either in cash at the bank counter or through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra.
Failure to pay the full tuition fee or report within the stipulated timeline may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.
