The Supreme Court will hear an important petition today, May 30, challenging the decision to conduct the NEET PG 2025 examination in two separate shifts. The United Doctors Front (UDF) filed the petition, raising concerns about fairness and transparency in the examination process.
Advocate Satyam Singh Rajpoot, representing the UDF, confirmed the hearing date through social media after the court postponed an earlier request for urgent listing. A new bench, comprising Justices Vikram Nath and Sanjay Kumar, will review the case following a recent reshuffle in bench assignments.
The petition argues that conducting the NEET PG 2025 exam in two shifts may result in uneven difficulty levels and inconsistent subject-wise question distribution. This could unfairly impact scoring and rank lists. The petitioners have also demanded greater transparency, including the release of raw scores, official answer keys, and any normalisation formula used.

The bench will also hear a separate but related petition filed by another NEET PG candidate, Aditi, during the same session.
