The Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Chennai, has officially announced that the last date to submit applications for MBBS and BDS courses in Tamil Nadu for the academic year 2025–2026 is June 25, 2025, by 5:00 PM.
The online application process began on June 6, 2025, and candidates aspiring to pursue MBBS or BDS in Tamil Nadu must ensure their applications are completed and submitted before the deadline.

Important Note for PWD Candidates:
Candidates applying under the Persons with Disability (PWD) category can currently upload their existing disability certificates while applying. The Regional Medical Centres, including RGGGH, Chennai, will begin issuing new disability certificates only after the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) or the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) initiates the application process.
The Selection Committee will announce the date for uploading disability certificates issued by Regional Medical Centres at a later stage. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for further updates.
