Uttrakhand NEET UG NRI Counselling 2025: Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) has released the counselling schedule for the Special Stray Vacancy Round under the NRI Quota for MBBS and BDS admissions in private medical colleges of Uttarakhand for the 2025-26 academic session.
As per the notification, 15% NRI seats are earmarked in Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences, Dehradun and Gautam Buddha Chikitsa Mahavidyalaya, Dehradun. Admissions will be conducted through NEET UG 2025 merit only.

- Merit List Display: 23 December 2025 (after 08:00 PM)
- Document Verification at Allotted College: 24 December 2025
- Declaration of Result: 25 December 2025
- Last Date of Joining Allotted College: 29 December 2025
Registration Fee & Security Deposit
- Registration Fee: ₹4,500 (Non-refundable)
- Security Amount: ₹1,00,000 (Non-refundable)
- Payment Mode: Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking
Eligibility & NRI Category Verification
- Candidates must be NEET UG 2025 qualified.
- Eligibility will be verified based on valid NRI documents, such as:
- Foreign Passport / Green Card
- Permanent Residency Proof
- OCI / PIO Card
- All NRI-related documents will be verified by the allotted college at the time of admission.
Conversion of Vacant NRI Seats
If any NRI seats remain vacant, they will be converted to All India Open Quota seats and added to the Special Stray Vacancy Seat Matrix as per state counselling rules.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- Candidates must complete online registration within the given timeline.
- Reporting to the allotted college with original documents is mandatory.
- No extension of time will be granted under any circumstances.
- Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official university website (www.hnbumu.ac.in) for updates, as no individual communication will be sent.
- The counselling schedule may be modified by the State Government or Counselling Board if required.
