The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued a final reminder to candidates of FMGE June 2025 to submit their deficient documents by July 16, 2025 (11:55 PM) through the Online Deficient Document Submission Portal.
This submission is mandatory for determining the eligibility of candidates for the upcoming Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE).
NBEMS has released a list of candidates who have not yet submitted the required documents despite multiple communications via email. These candidates risk being declared ineligible for FMGE June 2025 if they fail to upload the documents within the deadline.

Types of Deficient Documents
NBEMS has outlined the most common types of document deficiencies:
- Primary Medical Qualification Degree/Provisional Pass Certificate
- Must be apostilled or attested by the Indian Embassy in the country of qualification.
- Eligibility Certificate / Admission Letter / NEET-UG Proof
- Applicable for students enrolled after 2018.
- Proof of Indian Citizenship
- Mismatch in Name or Date of Birth
- Discrepancies in any document will require rectification or clarification.
- Transfer Documents
- Supporting proof is required for students who transferred from one medical institution to another abroad.
The final deadline to submit their deficient documents is July 16, 2025 (11:55 PM).
NBEMS clearly stated:
“No further opportunity will be provided after this deadline. Only candidates who submit all required documents by the due date will be considered eligible for FMGE June 2025.”
Eligibility Criteria as per NMC and MoHFW
Only candidates meeting both of the following conditions will be allowed to appear in FMGE:
- Eligibility Certificate issued by NMC (if applicable)
- Primary Medical Qualification Certificate (Degree or Provisional)
Failing to meet these criteria will lead to:
- Rejection of candidature
- No Admit Card issuance
If your name appears in the deficiency list or if you’ve received a notification from NBEMS:
- Recheck your email (including spam folder) for detailed instructions
- Upload the required documents only through the official NBEMS portal
- Do it before July 16, 11:55 PM to avoid disqualification
