New Delhi, October 13, 2025: In a significant step forward for NEET UG 2025 applicants, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has announced the introduction of new MBBS seats in the Round 3 counselling process.
The announcement was made in an official notification on October 13 to allow all deserving candidates to access the newly reported seats prior to the end of the choice-filling window.

The announcement ensures that new seats have been added in categories and quotas at three Deemed Universities and Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) medical colleges in Indore (Madhya Pradesh) and Jaipur (Rajasthan).

The MCC has informed that the revised schedule for choice filling and choice locking will be posted on the official portal mcc.nic.in in the near future.
