Key Instructions for Candidates
- Physical Reporting Mandatory: Candidates must visit their allotted college in person to resign their seat.
- Online Resignation Letter: The resignation will only be valid if the college generates an online resignation letter through the MCC portal. Failure to obtain this document will render the resignation null and void.
Why this Decision by MCC
The decision comes after MCC received several requests from candidates who reported their seats in Round 1 but later sought to withdraw due to personal, academic, or preference-related reasons.
By allowing withdrawal without losing the security deposit, MCC has ensured that candidates retain the flexibility to participate in further rounds of counselling or explore other opportunities.
Candidates planning to resign should strictly adhere to the timeline and instructions to avoid complications. MCC has clarified that only properly documented resignations will be accepted.
For more details, students are advised to check the official MCC website or contact their allotted institutions directly.
