MCC NEET UG 2025 Round 2: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has delayed the start of NEET UG Counselling Round 2 registration due to the extended window for Round 1 seat resignations. Candidates can now opt out of their allotted seats without losing their security deposits until 5:00 PM on August 25. This postponement has changed the schedule for NEET UG 2025 Counselling and admission.

Resignation Window Extended

Starting August 21, candidates who have already joined their allocated colleges can physically resign their Round 1 seats as MCC allows NEET UG 2025 Round 1 seat resignation without penalty till 25 August. The process offers an opportunity to withdraw without forfeiting the security deposit, but it must be completed in person at the respective college.

Online or proxy resignations will not be accepted.

MCC NEET UG 2025 Round 2 Registration Delayed

Initially scheduled to begin on August 21, MCC Round 2 registration has been postponed to accommodate the extended resignation window.

Though official dates are yet to be announced, reports suggest the registration could now launch after August 25, once the resignation process concludes.
