MCC has updated the mandatory documents for candidates applying under the NRI quota in NEET UG 2025 Stray Round. Check eligibility, required documents, relationship proof, and submission deadlines here.

MCC NEET UG 2025 Stray Round NRI Quota: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an important notification for candidates who want to apply under the NRI (Non-Resident Indian) quota or those who wish to convert their nationality status from Indian to NRI for the NEET UG 2025 Stray Round. This notice is in continuation of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) revised guidelines.

Students who wish to claim an NRI seat must strictly follow the document submission procedure and timelines. Failure to comply will result in disqualification from NRI quota seat options for the Stray Round.

What Is the NRI Quota in NEET UG Counselling?

The NRI quota is a special category of MBBS seats reserved for students whose parents or close relatives hold NRI, OCI, or PIO status, or are staying abroad with valid residency. These seats are available mostly in Deemed Universities, Private Medical Colleges, and select Government Colleges that officially allocate seats under this quota.
