NEW DELHI: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has released the notice regarding the refund of security deposits for candidates who participated in the NEET UG 2024 counseling. As per the notification, candidates who were eligible for a refund will receive their security deposit directly in the bank account they used during registration. This announcement brings clarity to students and parents waiting for refunds.

However, students who did not follow the counseling guidelines, such as failing to report to their allotted college, may not be eligible for a refund. As per the notification, candidates who were eligible for a refund will receive their security deposit directly in the bank account they used during registration. Any discrepancies in account details could delay the refund process.

The MCC issues a notice with a list of candidates who are eligible for a refund. The refund is credited to the candidate’s account within 1–15 days. If there is a delay in crediting the refund, the candidate can contact their bank and the NMC.
