NEW DELHI: For NEET SS 2024 aspirants seeking admission to DM/DrNB Infectious Diseases, the eligible feeder qualifications include MD/DNB in General Medicine, Paediatrics, Respiratory Medicine, Tropical Medicine, and Microbiology.

About DM/DrNB Infectious Diseases:
This is a super-specialty course for doctors in India, pursued after completing a postgraduate medical degree. The course lasts three years and focuses on diagnosing and managing infectious diseases through clinical and laboratory practices.

The NEET SS 2024 correction window has closed, and as per the National Board of Examinations (NBE), the listed feeder qualifications are subject to future changes.

To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the specified eligibility criteria set by NBE.

NEET-SS 2024 Eligibility Criteria

  1. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have an MD/MS/DNB degree or equivalent recognized qualification by 30th April 2025 to apply.
  2. Ineligibility Clause: Candidates found ineligible at any stage will not be allowed to appear or, if successful, will have their results canceled.
  3. Cutoff Date: Only candidates who complete their MD/MS/DNB qualification by 30th April 2025 are eligible.
  4. Late Qualification: Those obtaining their results after 30th April 2025 will not be permitted to appear.
  5. Medical Registration: Registration with NMC/State Medical Council is mandatory and must be presented on exam day.
  6. Foreign Nationals: OCI cardholders can appear without NMC registration but need temporary registration for postdoctoral studies, provided they are registered in their home country.
  7. Ongoing Doctoral Course: Candidates already pursuing a DM/MCh/DrNB course through NEET-SS cannot apply for another super-specialty course until completing the current one.
  8. FCPS Qualification: FCPS qualifications from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Mumbai, are not equivalent to MD/MS and are not eligible for NEET-SS.
  9. Provisional Eligibility: Issuance of an admit card does not guarantee admission, and eligibility will be verified post-exam.

Candidates must adhere strictly to these eligibility rules to ensure a smooth application process.
