NEET UG 2025: Final Month Revision Plan Released; Exam on May 4

NEET UG 2025 is scheduled for May 4, with the final month focused on revision, mock tests and strategic preparation.

New Delhi: With just one month left for NEET UG 2025, medical aspirants have entered the final phase of their exam preparation. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET UG exam on Sunday, May 4, 2025, and candidates can expect the admit cards by May 1, 2025.

Now is the time for candidates to begin their final revision and focus on mock tests to build exam confidence. Here’s a structured, week-by-week guide to help students make the most of the remaining days:

Week 1: Strengthen Your Basics

Day 1-2: Physics – Mechanics & Thermodynamics

  • Revise Newton’s Laws, Work-Energy Theorem, and Kinematics.
  • Cover Thermodynamics, Heat Engines, and Thermometric Properties.

Day 3-4: Chemistry – Physical & Organic Chemistry

  • Reinforce concepts in Mole Concept, Stoichiometry, Thermodynamics, and Gaseous State.
  • In Organic Chemistry, revise reaction mechanisms and key functional group reactions. Avoid starting new topics.

Day 5-6: Biology – Botany & Zoology

  • Focus on Plant Physiology, Reproduction, and Ecology.
  • For Zoology, cover Human Physiology, Genetics, and Evolution using NCERT books.

Day 7: Mock Test & Analysis

  • Take a full-length mock test and evaluate your performance to identify weak areas.

Week 2: Tackle Advanced Topics

Day 8-9: Physics – Electrostatics, Magnetism & Modern Physics

  • Cover Electric Fields, Potential, Capacitance, and Current Electricity.
  • Study Magnetic laws and revise using flashcards.
  • Revise Atomic Structure, Nuclear Physics, and Radioactivity.

Week 3: Strengthen Problem-Solving Skills

Day 15-16: Physics – Optics & Waves

  • Revise Reflection, Refraction, and Interference.
  • Focus on Sound Waves, Doppler Effect, and Wave Optics.

Day 17-18: Chemistry – Surface Chemistry, P-Block & Organic Chemistry

  • Review Colloids, Adsorption, and Catalysis.
  • Study P-Block trends and continue practicing Organic Chemistry.

Day 19-20: Biology – Ecology, Biotechnology & Human Welfare

  • Go through Ecosystems, Biodiversity, and Environmental Issues.
  • Revise Genetic Engineering, rDNA technology, and common human diseases.

Day 21: Mock Test & Review

  • Take another mock test. Focus on topics where you still struggle.

Week 4: Final Revision & Practice

Day 22-23: Physics – Fluid Mechanics & Electrochemistry

  • Focus on Fluid Mechanics, Surface Tension, and Viscosity.
  • Revise Nernst Equation, Electrochemical Cells, and Conductance.

Day 24-25: Chemistry – Aromatic Compounds, Alkynes & Polymers
