NEET UG 2026 Registration Begins: Check Dates & Instructions

NTA has announced NEET UG 2026 registration. Candidates are advised to read all the Instructions carefully to avoid disqualification.

The NEET UG 2026 registration official notification has been announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA), and it has also opened the online application window for medical aspirants across India. The registration process started on February 8, 2026, and candidates can submit their forms through the official website until March 8, 2026 (9 PM)

NEET UG 2026 is the single national-level entrance examination used for admission to undergraduate medical, dental, AYUSH, veterinary, and certain nursing programmes in India, making it one of the country’s most competitive exams with lakhs of aspirants each year.

  • Last date to apply: March 8, 2026 (up to 9 PM)

  • Correction window: March 10 – 12, 2026
  • Exam date: May 3, 2026
  • Exam timing: 2 PM – 5 PM (single shift, 3 hours)

Steps to be Followed By The Candidates:

  5. Upload necessary documents like photograph, signature, and identity proof.
  6. Pay the NEET UG 2026 application fee through online payment modes.
  7. Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Important Advisory by NTA

  1. Apply for NEET (UG) 2026 only in online mode through the official website: neet.nta.nic.in.
  2. No other mode of application will be accepted by NTA.
  3. Upload required documents such as recent passport-size photograph, address proof, and scanned signature.
  4. Submit only one application form; multiple forms may lead to disqualification.
  5. Follow all instructions carefully.
  6. Incorrect details or non-compliance with guidelines can lead to disqualification.
  7. Provide a valid email ID and mobile number (candidate’s or parents’), as all communication will be sent through email or SMS to the registered contact details.
