About NTA
The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), which is now known as the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GOI), has established the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous, and self-sustained premier testing organization under the Societies Registration Act (1860) for conducting efficient, transparent and international standards tests to assess the competency of candidates for admissions to premier higher education institutions.
The objectives of NTA, among other things, include:
- To conduct efficient, transparent, and international standardized tests to assess the competency of candidates for admission.
- Research educational, professional and testing systems to identify gaps in the knowledge systems and take steps to bridge them.
- To produce and disseminate information and research on education and professional development standards.
The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) has been conducted by NTA since 2019 for admission to undergraduate medical education, with the approval of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

When will likely to publish shceme for residential education in high schools in targeted Area ( shreshta nets 2023-24) online application form submit. Because last year had published 12 March to 14 April to sumbit online application form invited national.testing agency by their websites. Now this current year still not now publish. Inform me plz
