Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 New Registration Begins Today

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has opened new registration for MBBS and BDS (Group A) admission for the academic year 2026-27. The facility is part of the Stray Vacancy Round for State Quota seats and is being held after the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced the schedule for its Special Stray Vacancy Round.

The details are in Notice No. 31 (NEET-UG-2026), dated October 30, 2026. Registration starts on October 31, 2026 and closes on November 2, 2026.

Important Points for Candidates

• A candidate is treated as registered only after successful payment of the fees.
• Candidates who fail to upload the required documents will not be considered from the claimed category.
• Documents must be coloured scans of the originals.
• The schedule can change on the directions of authorities such as MCC, AACCC, the Central Government, the State Government or the Hon’ble Court.

Who Can Register? Eligibility Instructions

1. Candidates who have registered previously cannot register again.
2. Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 2 of MBBS and BDS (Group A) but did not join, did not report or cancelled the seat can register again. This applies only if they did not already register during the CAP-3 round.
3. Candidates allotted a seat in CAP-3 or any later stray vacancy round are not eligible for fresh registration or for the further Group A admission process.
4. Candidates registering in this window will be considered only for the CAP admission process for MBBS and BDS (Group A). They are not eligible for Group B and C courses.

How to Register

1. Visit the official CET Cell website, www.mahacet.org.
2. Open the NEET UG 2026 MBBS/BDS (Group A) section.
3. Complete the new online registration and session apply.
4. Pay the registration fee online.
5. Upload coloured scans of all original documents.
6. Complete online document verification by November 3, 2026.
