Supreme Court allows NTA to declare result:
The Supreme Court of India has cleared the way for the National Testing Agency (NTA) to announce the NEET UG result by staying a recent Bombay High Court order that directed the agency to hold the exam again for two undergraduate medical aspirants. Results of around 16 lakh students can not be put on hold for two students, the top court has observed.

Re-checking/re-evaluation of answer sheets
- The machine–gradable Answer Sheets are evaluated with extreme care and are repeatedly scrutinized.
- There is no provision for re-checking/re-evaluation of the answer sheets. This is because of the following reasons:
- The OMRs are machine gradable which is being evaluated through specific software impartial to all.
- The candidates are given an opportunity to make the representation on the OMR gradation of their OMR sheets and also given an opportunity to challenge the answer key in case of any doubt.
- No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

Counselling Procedure
Candidates applying for Medical/Dental Colleges in India must register themselves for the NEET counselling 2021. Counselling for 15% All India Quota seats will be done by the Directorate General of Health’s Medical Counselling Committee. Seats will be allotted to students according to their rank and choice filling. Counselling of NEET 2021 will be conducted in two rounds in online mode.
