However, for reserved categories such as Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST), the cutoffs are significantly lower than those for the unreserved (general) category.
In NEET 2024, many SC/ST candidates with marks in the 450–500 range got MBBS seats in government medical colleges across India, especially in their home states. A similar trend is expected in NEET 2025.
