  • Candidates who were not allotted a seat in Round 1 or 2, and candidates who took admission, do not need to deposit security money again for Round 3.
  • Candidates who were not allotted a seat in Round 2 and either did not take admission or resigned after admission will lose their entire security money. To take part in Round 3, they must deposit it again.
  • Only candidates who deposited the registration security money by the deadline and whose documents have been verified online can fill choices.

Choice Filling Rules

  • Choice filling is online. Candidates fill their preferences for seats in government and private medical and dental colleges. They should fill only the colleges where they are willing to take admission. There is no limit on the number of choices.
  • The Round 3 choice list will show vacant, not reported and resigned seats from Round 2 as clear-cut vacancies.
  • It will also show the Seat Against Cancellation (SAC) option. SAC seats are virtual vacancies. If a candidate who is already admitted gets an upgrade, the old seat is allotted to another candidate by merit-cum-option.
  • Candidates will also see seats of reserved categories other than their own. If a reserved category seat remains vacant at the time of allotment, it will be merged according to the table in Government Order No. 1/1448377/2026/71-4099/1011/2022 dated 01.09.2026.

Choice Locking and Re-allotment

  • Choice locking is compulsory. A candidate who does not lock choices will not be included in seat allotment, and the candidate alone is responsible for this.
  • After locking, no change can be made. The directorate will not consider any request about it.
  • If a candidate is allotted another seat under the re-allotment option, the earlier seat becomes vacant and is allotted to another candidate. If there is no re-allotment, the earlier admitted seat stays as it is.
  • While filling choices for re-allotment, candidates must leave out the seat they have already been admitted to. If the earlier seat is allotted again, the candidate must go to the nodal centre and complete the admission process as before.
