AACCC Round 2 Seat Matrix 2026: New AIQ Seats Added for BAMS, BHMS

The Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC), under the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), has released the provisional seat matrix for Round 2 of UG Counselling 2026 for BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS courses, along with a notice on the addition of new All India Quota (AIQ) seats.

Notice on Addition of AIQ Seats in Round 2

As per the notice dated September 27, 2026 (Ref. 1/2/2026-AACCC), AACCC has announced the inclusion of new AIQ seats in Round 2 of UG Counselling 2026. In view of this addition, all candidates will be allowed for upgradation to Round 2, including those who had not submitted willingness for upgradation during Round 1 reporting.

Provisional Seat Matrix Overview

The Round 2 seat matrix has been released separately for each stream, covering seats across four quota types:

• AIQ Government Seats – state-run government colleges across India
• AIQ Government Aided Seats – aided institutions such as Vaidyaratnam Ayurved College (Kerala) and Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya (Pune)
• AIQ Central Universities/National Institutes Seats – premier institutes including the Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (Jamnagar), National Institute of Ayurveda (Jaipur, Panchkula), and Banaras Hindu University’s Faculty of Ayurveda
• AIQ Deemed University Seats (Management/NRI/Self-Finance) – private deemed universities such as KLE University (Belagavi), Bharati Vidyapeeth (Pune), and Mahatma Gandhi Ayurved College (Wardha)

Seats have been allotted across all standard reservation categories – UR/OP, OBC/BC, EWS/EW, SC, ST, and their respective PwD sub-categories – as per each institute’s roster.

What Candidates Should Do

• Candidates already registered can check the updated seat matrix and exercise or revise their choices for Round 2.
• Candidates who wish to upgrade their allotted seat can do so now, even if they had not opted for upgradation during Round 1 reporting, due to the newly added AIQ seats.
• The complete provisional seat matrix (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS) is available on the official AACCC website for candidates to verify seat availability by college, category, and quota before submitting their preferences.
