Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Andhra Pradesh has released the notification for exercising Phase-I web options for BDS admissions under Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2026-27. Eligible candidates can submit their choices from 8:00 AM on September 12 to 10:00 AM on September 15, 2026.
Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada has issued a notification in continuation of its earlier notice dated August 5, 2026, and the Final Merit List displayed on August 29, 2026. The notification invites eligible NEET-qualified candidates to exercise web options for Phase-I counselling for admission into the BDS course.
Seats Covered Under This Notification
The Phase-I counselling covers seats under the Competent Authority Quota, including Special Category seats (PwBD, PMC, CAP, and Scouts & Guides), across:
- Government Dental Colleges in Andhra Pradesh (after contributing 15% of seats to All India Quota)
- Category ‘A’ seats (50% of intake) in Private Un-aided Non-Minority Dental Colleges
- Category ‘A’ seats (50% of intake) in Private Un-aided Minority Dental Colleges
Seats reserved for NCC and Sports & Games categories will be filled separately after the university receives the final eligibility list from the concerned departments.

Maximum Number of College Choices
Candidates are advised to exercise options for as many colleges as possible, in order of priority, to increase their chances of allotment. There is no restriction on the number of options that can be filled:

Important Instructions for Candidates
- Web options, once submitted, are final – no changes to options or priority order will be entertained after the schedule closes.
- A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email at the time of entering and submitting options; candidates must not share login credentials or OTPs with anyone.
- Candidates must take a printout of their saved options for future reference.
- Merely exercising a web option does not guarantee admission; allotment is subject to the seat matrix and eligibility verification.
- Candidates found ineligible after allotment will have their seat cancelled without prior notice.
- Web options must be exercised before every phase of counselling as per the schedule notified by the university.
- Candidates allotted a seat must report to the college with original certificates and pay the university fee of Rs. 12,600 within the reporting schedule; this fee is non-refundable.
- Candidates who join in Phase-I remain eligible for upgradation/sliding to a better college only up to Phase-III (Mop-Up) round.
