AP MBBS CQ 2026 Phase 1 MRC Candidates List in Open Category Released

Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr NTR UHS), Vijayawada, has released the complete Phase-1 list of Meritorious Reserved Category (MRC) candidates for admission into the MBBS course for the 2026-27 academic year under the Competent Authority Quota (CQ). The list has been published for information purposes and covers candidates who, despite belonging to a reserved category, secured their seat purely on merit in the Open Category.

What the List Shows

The list is meant to clarify seat movement between categories for reserved-category candidates who perform well enough to be allotted a seat under Open Category merit. For each such candidate, the list records:

• NEET Roll Number and NEET Rank
• NEET Score
• Name, Gender, Category, and Local Area
• The seat allotted in the Open Category
• The alternate seat the candidate would have received under their reserved category (marked as MRC movement)

The University has clarified that reserved-category seats linked to these candidates are not treated as reported/occupied, since the candidates concerned have already been accommodated under the Open Category.

Why This Matters

This list helps other reserved-category candidates track how the MRC mechanism affects seat availability in their category during Phase-1 counselling, since a seat freed up by an MRC candidate moving to Open Category becomes available for the next eligible candidate in that reserved category.

Candidates participating in AP MBBS CQ 2026-27 counselling are advised to cross-check their category and local area seat status against this list before the next round of counselling begins.
