AP MBBS NCC Category Web Options 2026 Begin: Schedule, Seat Matrix

Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) has started AP MBBS NCC category web options 2026 for NCC seats under the Competent Authority Quota. The notification is dated October 8, 2026, and follows the Provisional Final Merit List displayed the same day.

Who Can Exercise Options

Only candidates named in the Provisional Final Merit List under the NCC category, displayed on October 8, 2026, can exercise web options through their login IDs. There is no limit on the number of options, and candidates should list every eligible college in order of priority to improve their chances of an allotment.

NCC Seat Matrix

The counselling follows the NCC seat matrix displayed on the university website on August 29, 2026. The notification lists NCC seats across 26 colleges, including Andhra Medical College (Visakhapatnam), Guntur Medical College, Kurnool Medical College, Rangaraya Medical College (Kakinada), Siddhartha Medical College (Vijayawada), S.V. Medical College (Tirupati) and several government and private colleges. Most colleges have one or two NCC seats. Candidates should check the full matrix on the website.

Important Rules

• Entering options does not give any automatic right to an MBBS seat.
• Seats are allotted under G.O.P. No. 646 (1979), G.O.Rt. No. 550 (2001) and later amendments.
• If a candidate is later found ineligible, the allotment is cancelled automatically without notice.
• Candidates who took the Free Exit facility cannot exercise web options.
• Candidates already continuing in MBBS CQ Phase I/II will have their existing college as the default last option, shown in green. They should select only colleges they consider better.
• Candidates already continuing under the Convenor Quota who are also eligible under NCC will be considered against their already-joined general category seat in the same college. They can upgrade to a better college.
• A candidate who joined under general counselling will not be considered for an NCC seat in the same college.
• On upgradation, the earlier seat is treated as vacated and added to the Phase-III general counselling (mop-up) matrix. The candidate has no claim on it.

All other terms in the earlier notification and the counselling instructions dated August 29, 2026 remain unchanged.
