The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has extended the online counselling schedule for UGMAC 2026 (Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling) Round 2. The revised timeline applies to admissions for MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc & A.H., and B.F.Sc courses in government and private medical, dental, veterinary, and fisheries colleges across Bihar.
Reason for Extension
As per a letter from the Health Department, Bihar (Letter No. 1279(1) dated September 15, 2026), one new private medical college – K.K. Medical College & Hospital, Rajgir, Nalanda – has been added to the counselling process. Additionally, 50 extra seats have been added at Himalaya Medical College & Hospital, Paliganj, Patna. Following this, an updated seat matrix has been uploaded to the Board’s official website.
