BFUHS Punjab NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Seat Surrender Notice

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has issued a Public Notice (No. 03-BFUHS/Admissions/2026/138, dated 14.09.2026) announcing a Seat Surrender facility for Round 1 candidates of NEET-UG Counselling 2026 for the State of Punjab.

Who is Eligible

The seat surrender facility is available to candidates who:

• Joined a seat allotted to them in Round 1 of NEET-UG Counselling 2026 for Punjab, and
• Whose seat has been retained in Round 2 due to non-upgradation, but
• Now wish to surrender their Round 1 allotted seat

Surrender Process & Deadline

Such candidates may surrender their Round 1 joined seat by reporting physically/personally to their joined college up to 6:00 PM on 15.09.2026, without forfeiture of the Security Deposit.

Important Instructions

1. Candidates are advised to carefully consider the consequences of surrendering their seat before exercising this option. Once a seat surrender request is submitted at the joined college, it cannot be reversed.
2. Interested candidates must physically report to the allotted college and submit a written request to the Principal of the allotted college for seat surrender. The concerned college will process the surrender accordingly.
3. Any seat surrender request submitted after 6:00 PM on 15.09.2026 will be governed by the applicable counselling rules and may result in forfeiture of the Security Deposit.

All concerned candidates are advised to strictly adhere to the above schedule and instructions. The notice has been issued by the Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.
