Bihar UGMAC 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result Released

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the Round 2 seat allotment result for UGMAC 2026 (Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling) on 25 September 2026, covering admissions to MBBS and BDS courses in government and private medical and dental colleges across Bihar.

Candidates who participated in Round 2 counselling can now check their allotment status, along with details of their allotted institute, course, category, and seat type, on the official BCECEB portal.

Key Highlights of Round 2 Allotment

• Over 3,200 candidates have been allotted seats in this round, spread across categories such as UR, BC, EWS, and others.
• Allotment status for candidates falls under three types:
• New Allotment – candidates receiving a seat for the first time in Round 2.
• Upgraded – candidates who already held a seat but moved to a better college/course based on their choices.
• Retained – candidates who continue with their previously allotted seat.
• The result lists each candidate’s UGMAC ID, NEET Roll Number, NEET Application Number, NEET AIR, NEET Score, category, UR/Category/RCG rank, allotted institute, course, allotted category, seat type, and remark.
• Prominent institutes featuring in the allotment list include Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS), Patna, Patna Medical College (PMC), Patna, K.K. Medical College & Hospital, Rajgir (Nalanda), Kurma Sanskriti Medical College & Hospital, Jehanabad, and Mahabodhi Medical College and Hospital, Sherghati (Gaya), among others.

Background: Why the Bihar UGMAC 2026 Round 2 Schedule Was Revised

Round 2 counselling for UGMAC 2026 saw multiple schedule revisions after the Health Department, Bihar, added new institutions and seats to the counselling process. Two new government medical colleges – Sriram Janki Medical College & Hospital, Samastipur, and Government Medical College, Chapra (Saran) – along with a private college, Kurma Sanskriti Medical College & Hospital, were added to the round. Later, K.K. Medical College & Hospital, Rajgir (Nalanda) was also included as a new private college, and 50 extra MBBS seats were added at Himalaya Medical College & Hospital, Paliganj, Patna. These additions required BCECEB to release a revised seat matrix and extend choice-filling deadlines before finalising the Round 2 result.

UGMAC 2026 covers admission to MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H., and B.F.Sc. courses in Bihar’s government and private colleges under the state’s 85% state-quota reservation policy.

What Candidates Should Do Next

• Download the Round 2 allotment order/letter from the official BCECEB website – bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
• Candidates with a “New Allotment” or “Upgraded” status must complete document verification and admission formalities at the allotted college within the specified window.
• Carry all required original documents, including the NEET UG admit card, rank card, caste/category certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar card, passport-size photographs, the UGMAC-2026 application confirmation page, and the biometric check slip/Form 1.
• Candidates who do not receive a seat, or wish to try for a better option, can look out for the Mop-Up Round and Stray Vacancy Round, expected later in the counselling cycle.
